Most of my paintings are large scale figurative works in oil on canvas.
I use colour to accentuate emotion and mood so there is an expressionist quality within my work.

Much of my inspiration comes from renaissance sculpture which I bring to life through a process of photography, charcoal sketching, small scale colour preliminary works which build to the final paintings often at momumental size.
